Whether you are training for competition, triathlon training, exercise and fitness, or are just looking for social swimming, we will have a lane for you. Adult Swim Fitness
Adult Swim Fitness is a 6-week, technique-focused program designed to help new or returning swimmers build confidence and skills before joining regular Masters workouts.
Swimmers will learn and refine all four strokes — including flip turns — while improving fundamentals, comfort, and efficiency. We’ll also introduce the structure of a typical Masters workout, including intervals, drills, and equipment use.
Please note: This is not a learn-to-swim class. Swimmers must be comfortable putting their face in the water and able to swim at least 25 yards without stopping.
This class is ideal for:
Adult swimmers new to Masters
Triathletes seeking stroke improvement
Swimmers returning after time off
Dates: March 30 to May 8
Days: Mondays and Fridays
Time: 7:30–8:30 AM
Duration: 6 weeks; 12 total practices (focus on each stroke for 2 weeks)
Price: $195 for the full session
Unlimited members may attend at no additional cost. Punch card members may participate by purchasing a class.

Lizzi Smith
Sign up for private lessons with Coach Lizzi.
Coach Lizzi is a 3-time U.S. Paralympian and 3-time Medalist, 13-time U.S. National Team Member, and 7-time World Championship Medalist with two decades of swimming experience. She served as team captain of the 2024 U.S. Paralympic Team and shares her passion for the sport as a lead clinician on the Fitter & Faster Swim Tour.
At HCAM, Lizzi brings her experience and love of the sport to Masters swimming. She believes that the pool should be a place where people of all ages and abilities can continue to learn and grow while building consistency, finding joy in the process, and forming a community that supports one another in and out of the water.
Born with one hand due to amniotic band syndrome, Lizzi joined her first swim team at 7 years old and found a space where she could challenge herself and be defined by her effort. Swimming became an outlet and provided community, shaping her confidence and showing that her difference can be a source of strength.
For Lizzi, swimming has always been about more than racing, it has been a place of growth and connection, and she is excited to share that vision with HCA Masters swimmers.
